Test Post

Hey, I forgot all about this blog! Despite what Santa thinks, it's really only(!) been a year since I posted here. That said, that's a pretty long time. I found this site called Walfas that lets you edit these little characters. I was messing around on it and decided to see if I could make Santa, since that is the easiest character for me to test ideas out on. Worked pretty well. Might see more of this in the next little bit.

And yes, I gave Santa a jet pack. I might revisit the 'why' of that some other post.

LEGO Sith: Lord Tank-Bot

The first thing I did when I started playing Star Wars The Old Republic was start playing a Sith Warrior. Probably everyone else did the same thing. Because hey, Sith Warrior.

I knew I wanted to make a Juggernaut, because tanks are really all I am good at playing in this sort of RPG. So I made a Cyborg, and named him Lord Tank-Bot. He's not really a Sith Lord yet, I think that happens at the end of Act I, and right now I am only to Taris, but whatever. Also, he really is not wearing all black at the start, but this look is more stylish than his actual form fitting jumpsuit.

I think the LEGO Cyborg face is perfect for him, except Lord Tank-Bot isn't really that angry. I'm playing him mostly light side, though at this point I was playing pretty dark because I wanted to get it out of my system before getting Vette in my group.

My tactic at this phase in the game (which continues until current, and likely the future) involves running around in circles and using hit and run attacks until the enemies die, hoping not to get hit too hard.

Stay tuned.

Garrus Vakarian: Angriest of Birds

Just building off of the obscure joke from Mass Effect that 'Bird' is a derogatory term for Turians. Plus, I'm always down to take another chance to show off my Garrus minifig.

Mass Effect, Fallout, and Dragon Age Minifigs

So a bunch of these are from decals, and a few are also cleverly done with brickforge/ brickarms accessories. These will likely all get their own individual spotlight on the other blog, but I wanted to make sure they got a little play here, since this is, ostensibly, where I post my LEGO stuff.

Remember to click for bigger image
From Left: Quarian Infiltrator (Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer), Winterized T-51b Power Armor (Fallout 3), FemShep (Mass Effect 3), Garrett Hawke (Dragon Age 2), and Turian Sentinel (Mass Effect 3 Mutliplayer). I had a lot of fun making these, but they were a fair bit of work!

LEGO Series 8 Santa

Santa's got a brand new bag! And hat and jacket!

Hey guys, long time no see! It's apparently been a really long time since I have been in the mood to post here. Sorry about that! Well since I found this in Wal Mart yesterday, and I do have a blog devoted to LEGO Santa, I figured it would be negligent of me not to post it!

There's that bag I was talking about. Although I suppose you could be forgiven for calling it a sack.
He's  a pretty slick figure. Nothing ground breaking, but a new hat piece, never before printed torso, and new sack (rather than the medieval backpack), make this the finest LEGO Santa yet.

If The UNSC Ever Had A Prime Directive...

It's that nothing with horns and wings should ever be trifled with.
